Register an account in a few simple steps


Reasons to register an account

Registering an account will enable you to access information or make payments for local authority services such as:

  • Council Tax - Where you have already received a bill in your own name and have the Council Tax account number from this. If you have just moved to a new address and haven't yet received a bill, you need to register for Council Tax first and wait for your bill to arrive. You can do this here.
  • Housing Benefit and Council Tax Support - Where you are already in receipt of either of these and have a Claim Reference. If you aren't in receipt of these and would like to make a claim you can do this here.
  • Business Rates - Where you have already received a bill in your own name and have the Business Rates account number from this. If you have just moved to a new address and haven't yet received a bill, you need to register for Business Rates first and wait for your bill to arrive. You can do this here.
  • Landlord - Where you are in receipt of Housing Benefit payments for your tenants and have a Landlord Reference.
